I view this position as one of community service and therefore I will return 100% of my salary, in equal amounts, back to organizations within the five towns in my district.
Mission Statement
My mission is to work for the people of Erie County, to create a government that is efficient, financially stable, and provides necessary services at the least possible cost to the taxpayers.
Visionary Plan
My plan is to bring business, community, and political leaders together, working in harmony to benefit the citizens of Erie County. I will use my leadership skills to create a culture of teamwork in the legislature, which will lead to action in creating a balanced budget. Together, we can develop an environment where we constantly challenge each other to do even more, better than we ever dreamed possible. Working in unison, and seeing our accomplishments, will give us a feeling of fulfillment and pride toward our service in government. This in turn, will motivate all members of the county workforce to provide a more outstanding service to our community. Read more about my Platform and Plan.
About The Candidate
- I am an independent, hardworking businessman who will work full time as your legislator to reform government. I’m also a husband, a father, a grandfather and someone who really cares about the future of our community. That is why I chose to get involved.
- Unlike some past legislators, I will thoroughly read and understand all proposed legislation prior to acting upon it. I will use my proven leadership skills to work with other members of the legislature, motivating them to act together to balance the county budget.
- I am a fiscal conservative whose goal is to focus on decreasing the cost and size of government. We must learn to live within our means and not spend more than we have. This will lead to financial responsibility and a gradual reduction of the sales and property taxes.
- As a person who displays honesty and integrity, I will be a representative of the people, not a career politician. My pledge is to work closely with the citizens of my district so that my agenda is the people’s agenda, not that of any political party or special interest group.
- I am passionate about issues that will help rejuvenate the economy of Western New York and keep present business here. My plan is to create an environment that will attract new businesses to Erie County, providing future employment opportunities for our children.
